Although this program was studied on children with behavioral problems and anxiety with great results we believe it is of utmost importance for all children to learn these lifelong skills.Ĭhildren who learn these skills have less anxiety, aggression and defiant behavior and when PSST is used in conjunction with PMT, children show even greater changes in behavioral problems and anxious thoughts and feelings. PSST teaches children the life skill of stopping and thinking about different positive solutions to problems and quickly being able to generate possible outcomes to these solutions. We also use another evidence-based treatment program called Problem Solving Skills Training. Whether your child is having mild behavioral issues or major behavioral problems we can help.Ĭhildren ages 6-14 work with a Certified Trainer virtually. PMT has been proven over and over again to SIGNIFICANTLY change even the most difficult and challenging behaviors. You deserve treatment that works and so does your child! We are determined to train as many people as we can from around the world in order to help as many children as possible. Too often we see situations that have gotten out of hand, where well meaning parents have tried to get their children the appropriate help and after years of therapists who have never heard of PMT or who don't use evidence-based treatments, the behavior has often escalated to the point of hospitalization or juvenile detention. During these sessions you will be trained to effectively deal with negative behavior so that it significantly decreases and more importantly you will learn how to increase positive behavior so that it becomes second nature to your child. If weekly treatment doesn't suit your needs we also conduct intensive treatment (2-4 hour sessions) via Zoom where you will learn the skills more rapidly. PMT is a short-term treatment program which involves caregivers working weekly or every other week with a Certified Trainer for 45-50 minutes virtually or on the phone. PMT is an evidence-based program for children with moderate to severe behavioral difficulties. Parents or caregivers work on the phone or virtually with a Certified Trainer.
