If you do so, there's some extra things you have to deal with. Originally posted by Chaoslink:You're not supposed to make your whole team from the start. The failsafe is that Malady will force you to go to hall of echoes and cast bless on her after going back when you meet her after Alexander fight. As it turns out, I went back with RP while in control of all 4 characters and was able to get Bless!! I feel like it should not be this difficult. If that fails, then you might have missed the opportunity. If you can, you'd have to take manual control of Red and make him interact with the statue. However, you don't have a recruited companion as it sounds, you made the character at the beginning. Normally, the companion is treated as having done it even though they just sleep at the statue for a few seconds then await your return. This means that when you talked to the statue and went in and got bless, you needed to repeat the same action with Red too. I can try putting RP in my friends control as well. The other two characters, controlled by my friend, also have Bless. My other of the two is RP, and he does not have it. We (one of my two) was swaped out after the fact, but has no issue with Bless. Sorry I should clarify, we started with the creation of 4 characters. If that doesn't work then I'd head over to the Larian forums, I don't believe you'll get another opportunity to learn Bless. If you can't get RP to initiate the shrine encounter at either spot, maybe try turning on multiplayer in the connectivity menu, then try controlling RP? That's the only thing I can think. Originally posted by DrunkPunk:Oh so RP was a character created at the beginning by a friend? That could have caused the issue, characters that are created when starting the game are considered "main characters", and both main characters need to do their thing at the shines independently. My guess is that you'll have the chance to get it at some point though, probably when you reach the Hall of Echoes transition to act two and have to bless the god. Otherwise, you might not be able to fix that. If that fails, then you might have missed the opportunity.ĪS far as I've seen, Larian has failsafes for these kinds of things, so it'll probably resolve itself. All characters who were created at the start of the game are treated as active players, regardless of whether they're just following you or not.
